Hope you had a great weekend. I’m pretty excited about this week because we’re actually taking some time off! Self-employment doesn’t yield many opportunities for easy vacation so whenever a holiday comes up that most businesses are closed, we are all for enjoying some r&r. I’m not sure what we’ll be doing, but I’m guessing it’ll include some drinks (especially Lemon Lime Punch) and a bonfire in our backyard. Especially the drink I’m going to share with you guys today.
I won’t lie – this drink is crazy easy and delicious. I always have the ingredients on hand (if limes aren’t in our fridge, lime juice is) and it’s a really light drink that’s great for those hot summer days. We first had a similar drink to this on our honeymoon and I’m sure we had dozens of them by the time we left.
- 16 oz Lemonade I used Crystal Light
- 1 Shot of Malibu
- Juice of 1 Lime
- Combine all ingredients.
- Serve over ice and garnish with a lime wedge.
Use less lemonade if you'd like a stronger drink.
Substitute 2 tbsp of lime juice if you don't have a lime.
