One thing I always tell myself when a new month rolls around is that I’m going to do more random acts of kindness.
The statement always has good intentions behind it, but the follow-through? Ehh, it’s lacking. I maybe do one or two acts, if I’m lucky. And they’re usually poorly planned out and don’t have nearly as much impact as I’d hope they would.
So I wondered what I could do to make it easier to commit to it. How could I actually get more of these acts done and intentionally think about it more often? And so the idea of the kindness calendar was born!
Now, 31 random acts of kindness seems a little daunting in a month. And truth be told, I doubt I’ll be able to do all of them in March. But I really think that having them set on specific days and looking ahead at the month, there’s a good chance I’ll be able to do even half of them. Which is waaaay better than what I was doing.
