A few weeks ago, I decided my closet was in need of some deep cleaning and that it was time to get rid of everything I haven’t worn since we moved here. Nathan decided to join in and it resulted in two massive contractor bags full of clothes to be donated.
I’m not sure what it was, but something made it finally click for me that it was time to make the purge. I realized I still had clothes from when I worked in the corporate world (goodbye uncomfortable dress pants!) and also had clothes that no longer really fit my style. I also feel like country living has changed my style a bit as well.
It felt amazing to go through all of it and not feel an unnecessary need to keep it even though I wasn’t wearing it like I had in the past. It also made me see that I’m in need of a few new articles of clothing, too.
