After the hustle and bustle of the work week, one of my favorite things about the weekend is the fact that we get to make – and even better yet, enjoy – breakfast as a family. That doesn’t happen every morning during the week and even when it does, it feels like it’s a race to inhale our food so we can get to work.

So, we always try to do something special. No cereal or bland meals here!

Sandwiches, french toast, smoothies, slow cooker meals – you name it, we have it. While all of these are mouthwateringly good – our current go-to?

Cream Cheese Pancakes.

It sounds weird, I know. But I found these while browsing Pinterest one day for low-carb breakfasts. And they were so simple that I had to try them.

We ended up having them three times that week. They were that good.

But I found a way to make them even better which is why they’re in heavy rotation in our family breakfasts: McCormick Good Morning Breakfast Seasonings.

If you’re in need of flavorful, fulfilling breakfasts that the whole family loves, these little seasonings are your superpower. With both sweet and savory flavorings, your pancakes will never be bland and your eggs can always have a little zest.

We use McCormick Good Morning Breakfast Seasonings in everything now. Garden Herb is our favorite for cream cheese to smear on bagels. Bell Pepper Salsa adds a nice zing to our eggs.

And the Brown Sugar Vanilla?

Swoooon. That’s the seasoning we regularly use in this cream cheese pancake recipe. (Sometimes we swap it out with Apple Cinnamon, but this is our mainstay.) It makes these pancakes taste so much better without adding a bunch of junk to the batter.

One of my favorite things about these cream cheese pancakes is that they require just a few ingredients. And if you’re not much of a normal pancake person like me – you’ll never look at pancakes the same again after you try these. I like to call them crepe cakes because they look and taste like a mixture between crepes and pancakes. So tasty!
