One of my favorite things to do during the fall and winter is use our slow cooker. Who am I kidding – I love using it year round. But especially in the fall and winter.
I love filling the house with a comforting aroma and then cozying up on the couch with a warm bowl or plate of food. Now that is my idea of the perfect evening once the colder weather sets in!
And this slow cooker white bean turkey chili recipe is perfect for those chilly nights. It’s healthy, filling, and just screams comfort food. Y U M. My mouth is watering just thinking about having this again.

Slow Cooker White Bean Turkey Chili Recipe
- 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 Medium Onion Chopped
- 3-4 Cloves Garlic Minced
- 2 Pounds Ground Turkey
- 2 Tsp Cumin
- 2 Tsp Oregano
- 2 Tsp Chili Powder
- 1 Tsp Cayenne Pepper
- Salt and Pepper To Taste
- 1 14oz Can Green Chiles
- 32 oz Vegetable Broth
- 1 Can S&W White Chili Beans
- 1 Can S&W Cannellini Beans
Heat the oil in a medium pan over medium-high heat.
Saute the onions and garlic until fragrant, approximately 3-5 minutes.
Add in the ground turkey and cook until it is no longer pink (approximately 5 minutes.) Drain any excess from pan.
Add in the cumin, oregano, chili powder, and cayenne. Mix thoroughly. Add in salt and pepper (if using.)
In the slow cooker, add in the rest of the ingredients: the green chiles, vegetable broth, and the beans.
Add in the turkey mixture and mix thoroughly.
Cook on high for 2-2 1/2 hours or until fully cooked.

The great thing about this slow cooker white bean turkey chili is that it’s hearty, tasty and healthy which isn’t always easy to come by in the colder months.
At least for us.
Eating healthy feels so much harder during winter, but this dish makes it a lot easier! Plus, it’s so easy to put together and it’s ready a lot quicker than most slow cooker meals with the turkey being pre-cooked.
