Why I Rejoined Weight Watchers

Why I Decided To Rejoin Weight WatchersI don’t remember how long it’s been since I’ve been on Weight Watchers, but I do remember that it was the last time I felt like I was taking good care of myself and just good about myself in general.

For some reason, it feels like it’s almost human nature to not do what’s right for me. Brush my teeth, take my vitamins, eat fruits and vegetables, exercise for thirty minutes every day, drink enough water, etc. When I look at all of the things I need to do, it’s almost like they feel more like a chore. And sometimes, more work than they’re worth. Yet in the grand scheme of things, they hardly take any time out of my day and can add years to my life.

I’m not sure why it is, but Weight Watchers has been the only thing that turned those things into something I enjoy doing. I love tracking everything and having a visual representation of what I’ve eaten, drank, or how much I’ve exercised. And since one of my goals this month is to lose three pounds, and one of my goals for the rest of the year is to be in the best shape I can be for our trip in January, I decided now was the best time to rejoin.

I’m so excited to get back to feeling good about what I’m doing for myself. Eating the right foods, exercising on a regular basis and taking genuinely better care of myself than I have in a long time.

I would love any tips (Weight Watchers or not) for how you stay healthy!
