Preheat oven to 350º and spray a mini muffin pan with non-stick cooking spray.

In a large bowl, whisk the cake mix, egg, vegetable oil, and water together until well combined.

Spoon batter into mini muffin pan. Less is more in this case as the doughnut holes will rise and you'll end up with mini doughnut muffins instead!

Bake 18-20 minutes, or golden brown.

In a small bowl, mix some cinnamon and sugar together.

While doughnut holes are still warm, roll them in cinnamon sugar to cover completely.

Serve warm or allow to cool completely.

Store doughnut holes in an airtight container.
